there -- the last-minute
instructions have come.
I am now cast directly
in the paperweight painting
a cause for showing crazy pleased,
from this city gleefully gather
 the white lace
and prepare each of the
faintly suited occupants
the young,
the yawned,
and the caught sleeping
loosen the reins on the
autumn twilight
wait wide open
today could be the

return to always.
